Clean Energy Council Approved
We are the first Western Australian company to be Clean Energy Council Code of Retailer Conduct Approved.
WAAE was the first WA solar company to become a Clean Energy Council (CEC) Code of Conduct Approved Retailer. The Clean Energy Council Solar PV Retailer Code of Conduct is a way for solar businesses to show their commitment to responsible sales and marketing activities and solar industry best practice. It is a voluntary scheme for retail businesses selling solar PV systems to households and businesses who meet the stringent criteria of the code. Authorised by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), the code aims to lift the bar higher than the minimum requirements set by government and regulations and bring about a better standard of service within the solar industry. When clients deal with a Clean Energy Council (CEC) Code of Conduct Approved Retailer they:
- Receive assurance that the company has gone through a rigorous process to become an Approved Solar Retailer.
- Receive a standard minimum warranty period of 5 years on the whole PV system.
- Receive detailed information on the process between system installation and network connection.
- Gain peace of mind that the company will adhere to all existing legislation and regulations and that its sales representatives will act ethically and not engage in any dishonest or misleading tactics.
When you buy solar from a Clean Energy Council Approved Retailer, you can be assured that you are buying a quality product from a company that follows all relevant consumer protection laws and is prepared to back the operation of your solar PV system for at least five years.
