Newman College is a Catholic coeducational Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 school which educates in the Marist Tradition. Based in Churchlands WA, its current enrolment is approximately 1,890 students.

West Australian Alternative Energy was engaged to design and install solar systems at two of the College’s campuses in Churchlands.

After a site assessment it was decided that a 49kW system would best suit the College’s secondary campus and a 31.2kW system would be designed and installed at the College’s primary campus (Lavella).

Newman College is able to monitor the production of its solar system online using the SMA Sunny Portal.
