Best Industry Practice
We’ll deploy best industry practice throughout the design and installation
WAAE was first Western Australian Company to be CEC Retailer Code of Conduct Approved. The code of conduct, which has been authorised by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), is designed to give consumers peace of mind when making the decision to invest in a solar system by helping them select a quality retailer.
WAAE projects are an example of the Solar Energy Industry for Industry Best Standards AS 3000, AS5033, AS 4777. We adhere to strict Australian industry standards and codes of practice to ensure that all procedures comply with the relevant state and federal legislation. This benchmark is considered by WAAE as a ‘minimum’ acceptable level for workmanship and design. We have implemented industry leading strategies including exceeding quality standards and continue to build upon our detailed knowledge of solar PV system performance under varying climatic (irradiation and temperature) and shading conditions. Presentations at CEC Clean Energy Week 2013 and 2014 have used examples from WAAE projects to highlight best industry practice for installation methods.
As a testament of our commitment to providing quality of service and our commitment to safe work practices, we are also accredited with the ‘five ticks’ standards for AS/NZS ISO 9001 (Quality) and AS/NZS 4801 (Health & Safety).
